Musical Score

In a parking lot, a drummer and a carpenter set up a section of a five-meter high wooden bridge. The parts of the bridge are nailed up on both ends; the hammer beats are stereophonically recorded.

In the following weeks the hammer percussion is replayed on a continuous loop over two loudspeakers mounted on the bridge. Rhythm mixes with the din of construction noise; the hammer beats' points of origin can be acoustically attributed.
